The thoughtful God

Image
The Great God above is a thoughtful God, He didn't just put you on this Earth but also continually puts you in mind.  Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." He made you not with the thought that evil will come upon you but that you get peace, how thoughtful is this God. This is why He made covenants for us that are linked with His commandments so that we come closer to God. But then we as humans kept failing and falling out of grace. It was evident that we needed help.  Heb 8:7 says, "For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second." God wanted to make a stronger covenant with us that can immediately link us with him, becausr He knew sin made us fall far away from His grace. Heb 10:4 says,  "For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins."  So what did th...

Christ the Yoke Bearer

Jesus Christ,  the son of the Living God is a yoke and burden bearer.  Sometimes life gets so tough and hard to walk through and He knows, He knows your capacity. That is why He says in Matt 11:28 , " Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." What the Lord does is to send the holy spirit to you to comfort you and give a sort of relief in that trial in which you face. He goes on in the next verse,  Matt 11:29-30 "  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. " He not only wants to help you, He also wants to give you an alternative to what you are going through. My yoke is easy and burden light, just exchange your problems with mine. How loving is the God we serve,  what a wonderful God He is. God in heaven sent His son to die for our sins and in the process He gave us redemption. Now all you have to do is ...

Covenant Keeping God

God is a Keeper, you can trust Him. Many humans are out there making promises and not keeping it but God in heaven is keeping His and not looking back. Some may argue that Covenants are like Contracts except contracts have terms and conditions that are designed for you to fail but God's covenant is designed to bring man into redemption. God even continually reminds himself to remember His covenant by putting up signs the Rainbow is a good example, you can reas that in Gen 9:16. He never allows His word to fall but it must still its purpose. Some characteristics of covenants are: 1. It is initiated to benefit the lesser person. 2. No Restrictions  3. Based on steadfast love  4. Commitment 5. Forgiving  Remember that God wants to walk with you,  that is why He gives covenant, so therefore He will always keep it because He loves you. Hallelujah!!!! Always on Time

Image
"Ipsum esse" means that God is existence or act of existence itself. He is time itself, so then His time exceeds and supersedes all. He is himself the beginning and the end, how can He then be late?? Now what is required for you is to wait and trust in Him. But waiting can be so tiring for man as he always turns away. Abraham was one who waited for yeara and years,  do you ever just think about what went through his mind during the period of wait. Yet He decided to trust in God and his greatness and mighty hand. Yes Abraham waited on the Lord but a time came when he decidedto deviate from God's plan where he then bore Ishmael. He felt that was all tgat was in stock for Him. In Gen 17:18-19, God has to remind Him that His word would not fail, He is always on time because why? He knows all, sees all and He made all. You might find it hard to trust in the Lord but stand firm because God never fails and He will come through for you in His time. He is time. Hallelujah!!!   Fol...

Great God

Image
The Living God in heaven never fails and has never failed.  In the book of I Kings 17, the Isrealites turned away from God and worshipped idols which God warned them against in His commandments. This made God very angry and Elijah the prophet spoke a word unto the land that there shall be no rain which causes a great famine in the land. Elijah then went into hiding and God fed him and even provided him with water. A time came when the water dried up, God still sent to him help from a Widow shared her last meal with Elijah, that caused her to have an abundance of food. Her hospitality to Elijah also caused her son to be healed and be brought back to life.  In I kings 18 Elijah decided to prove to the King and the Israelites that he served a great God in a contest of Fire. He told them in I Kings 18:24 "And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord and the God that answereth, let him be God. " And they all agreed to this  Now they had 4...
